Site Supervisor Position for our Aboveground Storage Tank Repair projects
Responsibilities:
- Support field operations in all aspects including cost controls, planning, scheduling and estimating.
- Become thoroughly knowledgeable with the project's contract documents, drawings, specifications and scope of work.
- Assist in the development of the project master schedule with input from other project management personnel.
- Prepare and transmit submittals (drawings, materials, vendors) for Project Managers.
- Follow up with suppliers and expedite deliveries.
- Monitor receiving, warehousing functions and material control.
- Receive and log-in drawings and other contract documents, maintain document control log; ensure that drawings are current; void drawings are retrieved and filed as required.
- Field estimating/change orders as well as change management procedures.
- Perform any other job related duty as requested by Project Mangers.
- Review and integrate technological opportunities.
- Provide leadership in safety and quality performance and ensure due diligence in client and regulatory compliance.
- Support the development of monthly/yearly resource and revenue forecasting and budgets and cost reporting.
- Reporting to Project Managers concerns, issues and performance of the project.
- Respond to information requests from Estimating in preparation of bids.
- Communicate with the customer during project execution.
- Ensure compliance to all company, client and legislated safety policies and procedures
- Using adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPE. PPE is supplied and readily accessible.
- Reviewing safe work plans / hazard assessment prior to job commencement Five to ten years’ experience relating to industrial and/or infrastructure construction.
- Construction industry experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Considerable knowledge of industry-accepted standards, guidelines, procedures, and practices.
- Knowledge in mechanical & civil field construction projects.
- Knowledge of project execution activities such as planning, project controls, scheduling and costing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills including excel and other Microsoft packages as asset.
- Valid class 5 driver's license
- Physical strength and stamina
- Ability to work at heights
- CSTS or PST

Position Scope:
Monitor the execution of mechanical work in progress as it relates to existing aboveground storage tanks to ensure that it complies with applicable codes, standards, and specific job requirements.
Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the API Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector are oriented toward existing tanks that have been in service. The inspector should be able to check and perform calculations included in the following categories:
- Review drawings with repair contractor; ensure repairs are performed per drawings, per API code.
- Also ensure projects are complete on time and safely.
- Willing to travel and work on short and long term projects.
- Coordinate with various contractors throughout the project, moving contractors in and out.
- Perform walkthroughs will client field departments to make sure adequate repairs were completed.
- Track manpower on all active projects daily.
- Track progress on all active projects daily.
Qualifications:
- Considerable knowledge of industry-accepted standards, guidelines, procedures,
- CWB Weld Inspection certificate
- Must have current API 653/ 650 certification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Must be certifiable in UT Thickness at a minimum.
- Experience working in oil and gas.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft software, and various IDMS platforms. ACAD experience is a plus.
- Experience with ABSA and NACE would be an asset.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical strength and stamina.
- Ability to continuously stand or walk.
- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to manipulate small power tools.
- Condition of employment, all hires are required to pass a pre-employment drug test
Work Environment:
- Our primary work environment is in the energy and petro-chemical industry.
- Working on aboveground storage tanks and vessels.
- Working in restricted and confined spaces.
- Working at heights from work platforms.
- Will work in extreme temperatures above 35°C and below -30°C.
- May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces.
- Will climb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis during each shift.
- Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud (hearing protection will be provided).
- Travel between project sites will be required

In this position, you will be responsible for design and engineering calculations related to aboveground storage tank construction, maintenance and repair. Including foundations and associated piping. There will also be some reinforced concrete design requirements. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining our quality management system welding procedures and overseeing our quality inspectors.
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 5 years Civil Construction or Structural Engineering experience with a BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering. Other requirements include: strong knowledge of quality management systems, competent in AutoCAD and Microsoft, competent in Finite Element Modeling is ideal, excellent computer skills and written & verbal communication skills necessary. Travel required.

Vacuum truck operator position for our Aboveground Storage Tank Cleaning projects.
Responsibilities:
- Must have or obtain all required safety certifications, responsible for arranging and completing re-training before certifications expire
- Attend site-specific safety orientation prior to commencing work, safely engage in all on-site activities, follow all job site safety procedures and report violations immediately
- Always correctly use approved site-specific personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must always behave in a manner that ensures a safe work environment
- Clearly understand project specific safety requirements and expectations, if unclear must ask for additional information
- Clearly understand project-specific hazardous activities and associated risks, if unclear must ask for additional information
- Read, understand and observe all requirements of applicable Job Safety Analysis’s (JSA’s)
- Review and follow all applicable Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
